4-H empowers young people to reach their full potential. It enables Tennessee's youth to emerge as leaders through hands-on learning, research-based 4-H youth programs and adult mentorship, in order to give back to their local communities.

In Madison County, 4-H programming is conducted primarily through school-based clubs and individual project work. However, clubs are available on a county-wide basis for those who do not have access to 4-H in their school. There is also a club for those youth who are home-schooled.

Additional 4-H information is available at the Tennessee 4-H website or by emailing Sharon Tubbs - stubbs1@utk.edu or Kane Reeves - kreeves@tnstate.edu
