State Horse Show Results:
Students competed in the Horse Bowl and Hippology Contest which was held on Saturday, Jan. 16 at Crockett County Middle School in Alamo. Our Senior High Team placed 2nd and went to compete at the State Hippology Contest in Knoxville. The team members were: Larrya Stegall, Kimberley Snyder, Caitlin Mitchell and Emily Ison. While in Knoxville, Larrya and Kimberley did a team presentation and won first place. They are invited to attend the Southern Regional Horse Show to make their presentation there. Emily Ison prepared a speech for the Public Speaking Contest and she came in 3rd place. This was a great experience for all fo the students. They deserve a pat on the back for their efforts with the busy schedules that they have!
The Western Regional Horse Judging Contest will be held at the Triple P Arena on April 14, 2016 afterschool.
This group is led by Jennifer Brasher and our teen leaders. Guest speakers have been invited to work with us. After spring break, we will visit horse farms to look at horses in person.
