4-H emblem

In-school 4-H clubs meet monthly in September through March (excluding December). Members participate in contests, community service and educational programs throughout the school year.

  • September - Enrollment, select project and elect officers
  • October - Introduction to 4-H public speaking
  • November - 4-H speech contest (club level)
  • December - No club meeting
  • January - Introduction to 4-H demos & interactive exhibits
  • February - 4-H project folders
  • March - 4-H demo & interactive exhibit contest (club level)

 

 

4-H Projects​

Project work is at the heart of 4-H and is the way in which members achieve goals, earn prizes, achieve leadership roles, win trips, and earn college scholarships.

4-H Clubs:  A new year kicks off each fall with member enrollment, officer elections and project selection.

4-H Manual: The "Anderson County 4-H Manual" explains many of the opportunities available through 4-H. 

4-H Honor Club:  Youth in 6th-12th grade are eligible to participate in 4-H Honor Club, a leadership organization that meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 4:30 - 5:30 p.m. at the Clinton Library.
