4-H Contests

Page Content

4-H contests give members opportunities to showcase the skills they have gained through their project work.  There are many 4-H contests available at the club, county, multi-county, regional, state, and national levels.  For most contests, competition is divided into four grade levels.  Grade is determined as of January 1 of the contest year.

  • Junior: 4th & 5th Grade
  • Junior High: 6th & 8th Grade
  • Sr. Level I: 9th - 10th Grade
  • Sr. Level II: 11th - 12th Grade

Anderson County is part of the Great Northwest multi-county region, along with Campbell, Cumberland, Fentress, Loudon, Morgan, Roane, and Scott counties.  Our county competes in the Eastern Region for regional level competition.  The contest levels are:  C=County, MC=Multi County (Great Northwest), R=Region, S=State, N=National.
