           4-H Shooting Sports

White County 4-H has been involved in the Shooting Sports Program now for over 6 years.  In those 6 years thousands of students have learned how to properly
and safely handle Archery equipment and Shotguns.  We have placed third in the Tennessee NASP Archery tournament two years in a row for the Middle School Division.
are the 2012 and 2013 4-H State Archery Champions.  Our Senior High Shotgun Team placed fifth in the state for 2013.  We have earned numerous high scoring
individual awards and premier archer awards.  Thanks to the many volunteers for this program it is an awesome program for young people to learn leadership and
responsibility.  Hunting , Fishing, and Wildlife are a huge tradition here in White County and the 4-H program is proud to honor that heritage.

Programs for 2013-2014 will include:  Archery, Shotgun, Air rifle, and BB gun.  We will also be including classes in GPS, map reading, and wildlife identification.  If you
would like to be involved in any of these programs please contact us at 836-3348 or by e-mail at RoseAnn Dodson.
