Want to see what your beef-cattle-producer friends are up to? Well, maybe not all of them, but several state beef cattle producers are featured on a new set of videos about farm management.

University of Tennessee Extension recently released informational videos regarding THE Beef Cattle fIRM program, which is a software tool designed to assist farmers in making management decisions based upon cow performance. The videos highlight interviews with farmers who have experienced great success working with UT Extension area farm management specialists and the fIRM program. The videos can be found on the fIRM website.

“The fIRM helps producers maintain individual cow, bull and calf performance; sale information; and inventory records,” says Andrew Griffith, UT Extension livestock economist. “Our area farm management specialists are out there helping producers make the most of their operations, and the fIRM is often an important part of that equation,” adds Griffith.
