The purpose of ABOUT BOOKS is to promote the desire for lifelong learning that comes from the pure enjoyment of reading. Members bring their lunch and come to discuss the month’s selection.  There are no membership fees to join.

ABOUT BOOKS is a non-traditional Extension program which attracts a wide diversity of clientele.  New members are always welcomed!

From this book club, many members have joined Sumner County fce clubs just to be able to participate in the Regional and State Creative Writing Contests.  Members also donate volunteer hours to literacy reading programs for students in Sumner County and assist with 4-H Project Fair as judges.

DUE TO BUILDING CLOSURE,

THE ABOUT CLUB MEETINGS HAVE BEEN CANCELED TILL FURTHER NOTICE. PLEASE CHECK BACK WITH US.

Our ABOUT BOOKS Club is open to everyone and meets every
first Wednesday of every other month. For more information, please contact
the UT Extension Office - Sumner County at (615) 452-1423
