If you are looking for an opportunity to learn more about gardening, make friends or find a volunteer opportunity in our community—then the Master Gardener program may be for you!

This program is actively involved with the Rutherford County Farmers Market, volunteer projects and other educational opportunities in the county.

The Master Gardener Intern classes are taught by Extension Agents and Specialists as well as industry professionals. The 2019 Garden Basics class is offered for those that are new to gardening or simply want a refresher! Master Gardeners teach this 5 week course annually.
In 2019, the classes will be held on Thursday nights for five weeks starting January 31st through February 28th, 6:00pm –9:00pm.
Cost of the program is $50 for each individual, but two people from the same household that will share materials will cost $90 for the pair. Please apply by completing the application below and returning it to the Extension office. Class size is limited and will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
