4-H Chick Chain-Participants in the 4-H Chick Chain receive baby chicks during Spring Break. They are responsible for caring for the chicks until they bring their best five birds back for the 4-H Poultry Show and Sale, usually in August. The money raised from the sale is divided up and given back to the participants (as long as they meet all requirements). They also get to keep the rest of their chickens at home. There is a fee for this group.  We will accept applications until the end of February or until the group is full, applications will be available November/December.
