County Wide Teen and Honor Club meets on the first Monday at 6:15 p.m.  The next meeting is November 5, 2018 - Note START TIME is 6:00 p.m. for this meeting only.  

WHY?  It is a packing party for our global citizenship project -  Operation Christmas Child.  We still need some items - flip flops, toys for 10-14 year olds, activity booklets, balls, etc.

Any middle or high school youth may attend.   Join the group that focuses on leadership, citizenship and having fun!  Our goal is 50.  See the flyer for Operation Christmas Child for more details.

Recently completed service projects: 

 Honor Club members manned a water station lst year at the Coopertown Barrel Festival 5K Run in June.          

servicelogo09.jpg The County Wide 4-H Club packed 50 (new record) Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes ...global citizenship in action. ​Working on 50 boxes for 10-14 year olds this year donations accepted for postage.  Packing Party will be November 5, 2018.

 Ms. Hooper's 4th grade club made cards, visited the Orlinda Senior Citizens Center and made a Christmas wreath for the center and sang carols.

 County Wide/Honor Club - assisted with lighting luminaires at Memorial Gardens.

  Jo Byrns Middle School 6th Grades - Ms. Axley's and Ms. Collier's 4-H clubs with the assistance of Ms. Vaughn, made cards and donated items to residents in a local nursing home.

  Ms. Kelly's ERES club collected over 200 recyclables.

 Ms. Stroud's ERES club wrote letters to soldiers for the holidays.

 County Wide/Honor Club wrote encouraging letters to youth in Nepal and Ghana through a program called "Letters in Motion."
