4-H Club Meetings begin in October 2020 for participating schools. To be eligible to participate in 4-H you must be in the 4th - 12th grade. We are currently in these schools on a monthly basis during school hours: Calhoun Elementary, EK Baker, Englewood, Etowah City, Mountain View, Niota, Riceville, and Roger's Creek. Homeschooled youth may attend our 4-H Homeschool Meeting held at the office once a month. We also offer Honor Club to 6th-12th graders as an invitation only club. Club meetings will be held in the months of October, November, January, February during the 2020-2021 school year. Our annual Farm City Day and Spring Rally Days are currently on hold due to the pandemic restrictions.
Contests for the year are: Public Speaking, 4-H Posters, Demonstrations, Photography, and Clover Bowl. Contests may be changed this year to virtual, depending on how restrictions are at time of contest. 4-H members are given information about contests during the club meetings and the rules are also posted below for parents and members to view at any time.
Monthly Calendar
1st full week of each month: MT View on Tuesday (5th&6th), Thursday (7th&8th), and Friday (4th)
2nd full week of each month: Niota on Tuesday(7th&8th), Thursday(4th), and Friday(5th&6th)
3rd full week of each month: Englewood on Monday(6th), Tuesday(4th), and Thursday(7th&8th) - Etowah City on Friday
4th full week of each month: EK Baker on Monday(6th,7th,8th) and Tuesday(4th&5th) - Rogers Creek on Thursday(4th-8th) - Riceville(4th) & Calhoun(4th-8th) on Friday
