 TN Master Beef Producer
Over 23,000 certifications have been issue for the Master Beef Producer Program, The program is designed to leverage success into an even more productive beef industry in Tennessee by improving a profitability, position in the industry, and to be competitive with other states. The Tennessee Master Beef Producer Program uses a combination of hands-on experiences and classroom teaching. Individual sessions will be delivered by your local UT Extension Office.
The sessions provide opportunities to gain knowledge with hands-on experience in current beef cattle management practices that are important to the profitability and sustainability of the industry. It also allows for networking with other producers, Extension specialists, researchers, and industry representatives.
Participants will be provided with reference materials beneficial to enhancing their beef cattle operations beyond what is covered in the training sessions. They will also qualify to apply for financial assistance with the Tennessee Agricultural Enhancement Program. At conclusion, program graduates receive the following for participating: fence sign, cap, and certificate.
