The Lauderdale County Cannery will open on Monday, July 6th at 7:00 a.m. Cannery hours are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and will keep this schedule through mid-September. The cannery is a commercial kitchen for canning fruits and vegetables for citizens of Lauderdale County. There is no charge for cannery use. It includes pressure cookers, wash basins, new pea sheller and commercial tomato juicer. Cannery employees are on hand to assist patrons with canning needs.
