Mission Statement


To present, in a wholesome family environment, a premier regional fair that showcases agriculture and arts and crafts with an emphasis on youth activities, organizations, and related educational programs.

General Entries are due on July 2, 2019

Except Departments L&M will be accepted until 10:30 AM on July, 19, 2019.


Livestock Entries are due on July 2, 2019


Late fees will be applied to any entries received between July 2-16.  No entries will be accepted after July 16, 2018.

Livestock Entry Fees

Beef Cattle - $9/head

Dairy Cattle - $7/head

Goat - $5/head

Sheep - $3/head

Poultry - $1/bird (Chick Chain by trio)

Rabbits - $1/rabbit

Livestock Specific Rules



Registration is REQUIRED.  You must register with complete information including email on the entry form and the form must be received in the Hamblen County Extension office no later than July 2, 2019.  They can be mailed, emailed or faxed to the office. If emailed or faxed the entry fees must be received within 10 days of the email/fax.  You will receive an email confirmation once your registration and/or payment is received.

1. Be sure to use separate registration forms for each species and breed of animal and also for each exhibitor. Complete information is required.

2. No more than 2 entries allowed per Lot.

3. There will be NO REGISTRATION the day of the show. 

4. You must be a current 4-H and/or FFA member (4th-12th grade on January 1, 2019) in order to compete in the show. There are some exceptions for “Little” classes in beef cattle, dairy cattle, goat and sheep.

5. Animals may only be exhibited in breeding, market or commercial classes.  They cannot be entered into multiple categories.

6. There will be spaces allocated in the barn for you to tie/stall your animals. Please plan to use only the space allocated for you and to work with others to make the best accommodations for everyone. Sheep and goat exhibitors may bring your own panels to use within the horse stalls for additional separations if you prefer.

7. There should be fewer issues with space for animals and tack this year. Please ensure that you keep aisle ways open for the movement of animals.

 8. Generators may be brought and used but must be kept outside of the barns.

9. Shavings will be available for sale from the Expo Center.  Any other bedding may be brought in by the exhibitor.

10. There will be a Supreme Champion selected for each species. Eligible animals will come from the respective Grand Champion classes.
