Join the Coffee County 4-H Trap Shooting Sports Team



Interested in Trap Shooting?  Join the Coffee County 4-H Shooting Sports Team!  Trap Shooting is a competitive clay pigeon shooting sport where the participant uses a shotgun to shoot at clay targets. This 4-H program teaches life skills to youth, including responsibility, teamwork, and sportsmanship, as well as safety and ethical use of firearms.

**A limited number of spots are available for this opportunity.  Spots will be given on a first come, first served bases.  A waiting list will be developed for any remaining students that wish to participate and will be contacted as spots become available.

 Things to know:

  • 6th-12th graders are eligible to participate
  • Practices will be held at least twice a month
  • An estimated annual cost for this opportunity is $600-$800 (not including firearm cost)
  • 4-H is not responsible for providing your firearm
  • Only serious inquiries need to contact the 4-H office at 723-5141 for further information about upcoming meetings
