Lewis H. Dickson Extension Award for Innovative Programming
The Lewis H. Dickson Extension Award for Innovative Programming recognizes Extension professionals who develop and implement innovative programs in the areas of agriculture and natural resources, resource development, family and consumer sciences, or 4-H youth development.
The award, which alternates between County Extension Agent(s) and Departmental Faculty/Specialist(s) (every third year) will be awarded to a Departmental Faculty Member/Specialist in 2009.
The award will be a minimum of $2,500 and will be presented to a departmental faculty member/specialist during the Institute of Agriculture awards/luncheon in 2009. Departmental faculty/specialists who have been employed by UT Extension for one continuous year may apply for the award.
The applicant should provide a two-page description of an innovative program and provide documentation of impact. Documentation should be provided to demonstrate team involvement, partnerships formed, volunteers utilized, and collaborative efforts.
