Just as summer camp and other 4-H programs provide educational, fun, recreational and social opportunities for children - so does goCyberCamp! goCyberCamp is a Web-based 4-H "camp" that provides hands-on learning experiences through interactive games and activities that teach science and technology, plants and animals, ecology and natural resources and arts and crafts. Along with providing unique opportunities for discovery and exploration, goCyberCamp supports 4-H educators and volunteers with curricular materials to help them further engage children through offline hands-on activities that extend online learning and fun. goCyberCamp ensures a "safe zone" for youth online since it excludes advertisements or commercial tie-ins and external links to other Web sites. Content on goCyberCamp is developed in reference to science-based information and learning resources provided by expertise of the Land-Grant University system. goCyberCamp is available anywhere and anytime. Kids between the ages of 8-12 can play online games and activities and make new friends. Plus, it's available free of charge! It's fun learning!
